The Power Engineering Division was established in July 2002 and aimed to be the best EPC contractor of power generation and substation projects. The greatest advantages that we have are the capability to provide comprehensive project planning, system integration, construction management mesh resources, resource integration and effective control of upstream and downstream resources, which make CHEM an outstanding company in the field of power generation and substation engineering. To reduce the effects of global warming, we will continue to devote ourselves to the renewable energy sector. It is estimated that over the next five years, we will undertake and execute power generation and substation projects averaging NT$2.8-3.5 billion annually.
In regard to substation projects, CHEM has completed 20 substation EPC projects, including two EHV (extra high voltage) ones. The total accumulated project price is approximately NT$9.8 billion, with a total installed capacity of 6,590MVA. Each substation project was completed within the shortest possible schedule and with the reputable quality. Accordingly, our service quality and performance have received favorable comments from Taipower's related departments.
