Tachiachi power plant Kukuan branch power plant has four units of vertical Francis turbine generator, whose rotation speed is 300 rpm, with low noise and high efficiency. The units are manufactured by MELCO, Japan and installed/tested by CHEM. The rated capacity of turbine is 55300kW per unit, higher than the value required by Contract (53,000kW per unit). The rated capacity of generator is 67,575 kVA per unit, higher than the value required by Contract (59,200 kVA per unit).
