The Intelligent Ethernet Data Gateway (iEDG) is a most advance product for dat communication gateway. Operating individually, it acts as data gateway, protocol converter, or data concentrator for IED devices. It provides Ethernet interface for remote units such as RTU (DS-32CE) , FTU (iPAC-CC) , and IED relays.
Network Database (NDB) application is used in a network configuration with multiple iEDGs or RTUs for data updating in a distributed environment.
