The Taiwan Sustainability Assessment, led by Taiwan Index Plus (TIP), evaluates how well companies manage ESG-related risks and opportunities specific to their industries, focusing on the three key ESG areas. The evaluation model systematically reviews whether a company has set an appropriate sustainability vision, developed corresponding strategies and goals, and effectively implemented concrete actions to achieve and enhance sustainable development. This is done through four key dimensions: Social (S), Economic (E), Environmental (E), and Disclosure (D).
In recent years, while achieving outstanding operational performance, CHEM has not only strived to fulfill its mission of environmental (E) protection and its commitment to social (S) responsibility, but has also implemented digital transformation in corporate governance (G) to continuously move toward the goal of sustainable operation. All these efforts led to an A rating in TIP’s recent Taiwan Sustainability Assessment.
